yo hi...been quite a while...

well nutin much the past few days i haven't been blogging actualli...
been rather quiet somehow...feel moody..dunno y...feel as if im putting on a mask...aiyah wadeva la..been putting on a mask all my life...

can't believe my real self is like so diff. from how i present myself to the world...juz feel bloody weird ah tis week. n i dun tink it's gonna fade.Period.

WOOO!! time to study for A levels!!

not a geek man...gonna giv myself like a week's break..give myself time to grief n then recharge...and then im good to go..hah!

ahhhh...feel so relaxed now...feels kinda better than the week b4 march hols..heheh..tho there's still lessons nxt wk tho...heard the papers are gonna be completed marking soon...heh..kewlz man...

im nt expecting myself to do veri well do...mere pass or D would be kewl enuf for the amt of effort i've put in...seemed like a 100m dash for me...kinda forgot that it's a bloody 10km marathon...lots more dist to cover, lots more.......

aahwells, for now, let's all give ourselves a pad on our back and give ourselves a well-earned/well-deserved break for the mini pressure that we went through the past week yea..well done!!

wowee..been quite a long week man...so long that i haven't been blogging..since mosaic man...

and i still gotta say mosaic 2006 was a bomb man!! looking forward to 2007...oh shit!! no!! that's my BMT man...blardee...nvm..i'll sneak out if i haf to...heh yah rite..

anywayz...tmr will be the the the last paper..lucky it's mcq man...or rather mcG..heh..gotta haf a short nap later...then mayb skimpily do some tys qn...heh..

tink the common test week was a blessing in disguise for me...finally, i find the urge to push myself...now tt i've gained momentum, i hope that i dun stop...cos when i stop, veri hard to start le...and i'll start cursing and swearing til mid yr comes...n the cycle continues...

well, fridays will be free-er for me now...business not tt good le..so kinda not playing at playroom...aah wells..we signed up for a band competition organised by NYC...prelims will be on 1st April(hopefully)..man..finally...stack amps...stage...drums..vibe...everything that i need..audiotherapy man! i still got a lot of ear training to do though..heh...

INDIE, ROCK 'N' ROLL

yesterday was the BOMB man!! performances by Pulse, Awi Rafael and Ronin...wat could be better?!?!? they rocked the whole theatre down man...luv em biggie...super energy man..

yeah..and with that in mind, kinda spent quite a bit ydae...got 2 cds...Jason Mraz Live and Pulse's Moving On.. too bad la, Rafe and Awi weren't promoting their CDs...i'll gladly buy theirs over Mraz...

yesterday was a great platform to show tt local talent/local music can KICK ASS BABE!!! wooo!! musicians are going regional and soon international in no time! im serious...regional in 5 years? international in 7-10? it's happening now man...it's happening...and i'm glad...gives talents more hope...

the more i think about the music yesterday, ignites the hell out of my passion to write songs and create groove...tts my job as a bassist btw..create groove..heh...if they can do it..y can't ZI? yea...

n yea, toking abt writing songs and all, perhaps now i'll haf my fridays to do that, cos sadly, ZI will not b performing at Playroom anytime soon...for a while la(hopefully)..budden again, feel lyk moving on to somewhere else...i juz dun feel the mood to play in Playroom...can't hear myself, vol. not really balance...the speakers are meant for video la...not for instrumental input...it ends up..tt i perform at playroom onli for financial backup...wic shudn't be the way...i perform to get my share of goosebumps...tt adrenalin pump...certain moments where my heart juz speeds up...and then slows down and speeds up again...man...such a beauty....

guess i wun be getting tt anytime soon...i crave for a gig...i crave for big amps..i crave for music blasting into my face...i crave for proper monitors and stack amps...i crave for a supportive crowd...crave the blinding lights...oh how i wish to perform at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre again soon...when? maybe never again...let's get some contacts yeah? heheh

mayb there's a reason y we're having this break rite nw...i guess it's time tt we improve, upgrade, mature in our styles and techniques...guess it's a calling for us to analyse wat we've done wrong and work on those areas..and then make a bloody comeback..yeah!! tts wat it is..revamp...reconstruction...improvement...tts sumtink ZI gotta juggle man..'A's and music..well i dun mind...i believe i can..(darn. gotta increase by focus span)...

shud make a trip down people! like i said, sure no regret...i went for Jazzology...goodness!! the music's damn tight man!! there was this guy doing jazz on a traditional instrument called the Gambus...and then there's this another guy who i can say is as good as John Mayer dude...veri veri veri refreshing...stayed thru to watch all the performances....

wat's fantastic was that, Jazzology was a treat for me, visually and musically because the 2 outdoor performances haf super-duper-wowwwe-wonderful bassists!! They've got uber fantastic grooves man...can't help but enjoy and eye-ing their techniques...wooo!! slapping and popping and solos...it's all FREE!! wat could be better man? realli realli inspired me...super super...the moment i got home, guess wat i did? hehe..tried out the techniques...nyehehe...

soon la, i'll evolve to play mature music...for now, let's stick to indie and soul yeah...and then slowly evolve to embrace jazz and blues...this is wonderful!!! heh..

aiyah, ok la, take care ppl...if you feeling tensed, stressed, head down to Esplanade from like 6.30pm onwards...you're in for a treat dudez!! im serious...my musical taste veri strict one, if i say nice means nice...haha...

been listening to the song like a few million times (okay mayb nt tt much!)...and suddenly got the urge to revert back to a white concept...heh..it's a very refreshing piece...if your wondering how i got to noe about Levi Kreis, it's thru The Apprentice..the prev episode where they were suppose to produce music, this guy emerged...from zero to fame baby! lucky fellow..but he's talented anyway...so yea...my hats off...

haha, tink soon, i shud make my own skin...this skin..is a modified skin, pix are mine...and i modified..certain parts of layout, i modified too though...well, let's hope the owner doesn't catch me...else, gotta change to another skin...nyehehe...

crapodoodle doo...it's the mosaic festival, i can't believe i missed the soul bands on outdoor theatre yesterday!!! argh!!! there were rendition of joss stone, oasis, radiohead...fuwaah!!! damn...nvm..mosaic festival still gonna be on for quite a while...and the events are usually in the evening...fantastic...they'll be my breaks off from studying...wooo...

watching ppl perform motivates me...eehhe...wat the hell la...haven't been practising my bass for a couple of months now...shit..except fri la..where i perform to a bunch of unappreciative crowd...damn all!! ehehhe...n i juz found out there's JAZZOLOGY, tmr!!! uwah..so gonna check it out baby!!

All these in esplanade...check them out, sure wun regret...esplanade managers haf good taste and they will not allow any bands to perform if they're not good..trust me..i've been there, performed there, done that...=D wooo...LOCAL TALENT UWAH!!!!

anyways, today wasn't realli a good day during extra tutorial..ahah..did some mistakes...man, he ate into my conscience!! argh...wat a good day to start my tutorial..felt damn awkward ah...but Su, u deserve it la, hu ask u slack...hu ask u dun wanna wake up so early...gah gah!! nvm la, let this be a learning pt for me...=D cheerios ppl..can't wait to watch the performances...=D!!! rockopolo local talents!!! Today will be the day I DIE!!!

Hah, yah rite, joking la, tts juz to get ur attention...:P

yokay yokay, kill me if u all want to, realli haven't been updating my blog...gah...budden again, if i update now, dun tink many will be reading anyway, guess i just lost quite a bit of readers...hehe..

it's ok...my movie is for me to enjoy!! wooo...gah..

well well, 2 days ago was 02 finale...and sincerely, i tink it was good..tt was like the first campfire finale in PJ in like 3 years? job well done ppl..we didn't haf a chance to carry out a campfire for 01...and u helped us fulfill tt dream...thks 02!! but seriously, it was realli smooth...ur on the right track ppl..keep it up! =D

well, sadly, i din realli join in the cheering and all. damn, i broke my promise...i vowed that for this finale im gonna join in a clan and cheer wif them...but too bad la, busy preparing for song item...onli manage to dance 1 mass dance and 1 fun dance...

i hope many j2s took the opp. to come for campfire, i seriously think, that will be the final finale that we'll be attending as Pioneers....commitments await us the following year, and we may not be able to enjoy such spirit in school. As j2s, we're onli a few months away from the "real world". for 18 years of our lives, we've been confined in a comfortable environment, school environment...where everytink is controlled and provided. Juz seems like 2 days ago that i was in pri. and yesterday i was in sec....look where we all are now...and in a few months, walla!! we're left to survive on our own....

it's realli realli daunting...trying to visualize myself out there, need to haf a plan man...dun juz wanna be another average joe...but it's gonna be realli realli interesting...i guess...i hope, meeting ppl from all walks of life in a totally uncontrolled setting, well relatively.

but b4 that, gonna make the most of my jc life buy mugging, mugging, mugging...heh..well it's worth my life!!! but nonetheless, i'll spend these few months(a bit more i hope) with friends 2! gonna create memories...it's interesting how ppl from totally diff background, mentality can actualli get together and form cliques, here in JC...realli kewl..woooo!!!

well, and i tink the J1s haf a fantastic spirit...they seem to be a jovial batch...realli..realli realli miss that spirit...miss the hyped atmosphere...well the good thing, they'll be here to stay, they'll be my motivation for my final push in PJC...in academics as well as my dream and goal to breed extraordinary leaders for the 7th council...i will assure myself and every1 else...they will progress and be better than 6th council...i wun allow them to start from scratch, will equip them with the skills, and how they hone and improve, it's totally up to them, but we all gonna haf a start line rite?
