hhehe, juz reached home actualli. came back from mini gig at Gas Haus. Very interesting place. veri comfortable pub. and the atmosphere there is great. had like jamming and gig session w like some veri cool people from UAN.

hey, gonna start with my take on Singapore Idol. It's only the 2nd season of Singapore Idol n i think it's nothing more than a showcase of mindless voting. It happened in season 1, happening again now. gosh!

had one-session gig at Ben n Jerry's yesterday. the mood was great. saw tainted friday again. love their accoustic atmosphere, very homely. heh, juz realised that the more i dun care abt a session, the better i perform. heh...shall maintain that mentality...

n yes, finally, my table is clean once again(hopefully it'll remain tt way) for 2 months, it's been loaded with shit. very hard to study ba, heh.

i've realli nutin much to blog tho. kinda juz woke up half hour ago n juz decided to blog. heh, guilty for not blogging consistently.

hey, do you ever get this feeling that you dun wanna wake up for school, or mayb dun feel like gg sch at all for that day? or mayb for the week? but when u actualli get ur ass up and head to sch, and meet ur frens, things get better and ur day in sch ain't tt bad for you?

i've kinda lost my purpose in heading for college daily. i mean seriously. the routine is getting to me. i finally feel like a broken record playing the same song over again (mayb once in a while, some decides to change songs or sumtink). i pass every week, i live juz to look forward to the weekends. the weekends are all that i look forward to in a week. n tt sux la, 'living for the weekend', so uninteresting eh?

i bet it doesn't onli happen for school, i mean for work too i guess. for many, i guess it's the same routine day in day out, hoping to punch out at 5pm, maybe 8pm with OT. mayb looking forward for the weekend. some ppl dun even haf the option to rest.

is this how life's suppose to be? i keep telling myself life's great, life's colourful. 18 years, it's basically the same thing. juz tt, as years passed, things advanced, tts all. but seems to me the principle of living life is the same, like a repeating record player.

how i wish I could make my life more interesting. mayb time is all i need. yeah, time....tts the key i suppose.

anyway, i've made a rather interesting observation recently. i noe some of you might be rather skeptical of the service quality in Singapore. but personally, i think it's improving quite a fair bit. i mean seriously. at least my recent experiences in retail outlets have been rather pleasant. juz recently, went to a store. they were quite personal (i used quite cos there're still rm for improvements, hee) n i guess tts gr8. quite easy to communicate w them, tho they're quite intimidating la. but of course, as a 'poker-faced-customer' i kept my cool, and turned down a couple of offers. guess tt got them slightly panicky, heh, but well, the point is, i can see that they're putting in effort to actualli serve. n that is good. something i haven't realli seen for the past few yrs.

and even svc in the public transport, getting better. bus drivers are way more friendlier now. they're more than willing to help u when ur in need of direction help. juz few weeks ago, there's this driver who actualli notified an 'unsure passenger' about the stop and i tink tts great. and these are 2 of the many experiences that i had the past few months.

i guess it's time that we kinda show some faith in the policies in our country. the service industry is improving. i guess all that's left are the general courtesy of Singaporeans. now that, needs a lot more polishing. yeah, many of you noe im realli against rude behaviour in public. juz hope that more ppl will be more aware of their actions and the impact of their actions on others.(especially when boarding public transport). not saying tt im perfect, but juz gotta realise that the world doesn't revolve around an individual.

im realli beginning to worry about my future. im juz afraid that the industry that i wanna work in will be like saturated n there's like no more vacancy for me. n then i've to look at the prospect of going and staying abroad. the future isn't very far ahead. if i dun think abt it now, then 5 years later, i'll find myself wandering around.

hah! finally, got tt off my chest, wanted to blog earlier, but damn server error. so yea.

had a kewl day on National Day 2006 (09/08/2006) cos we celebrated germs and dasen's bdae. it was so much fun! it's like going on a field trip. heee. the best part of the field trip was taking the stupid moments on my handy dandy cam. weee....mayb i'll make a short clip on our trip to island creamery, for the sake of Jeff and Kenneth, heh.

well, tts national day..i consider that fruitful. Haven't been fruitful these few days. haven't been doing any revision. juz doing assignment. even then , i haven't realli fully completed my assignment, still got bio left, maybe chem? i think.

starting to lose my focus...no no..can't...must come back. damn. mayb i should cut back on my music? nah...gotta balance man. i shud cut down on procrastination man! yeah...

had performance on Friday (11/08/2006) @ Ben and Jerry's. Pretty ok. better than previous perf there. we had no choice la, had to recycle a couple of songs for certain sets. we're still humans yeah, we're not god. but we did play new songs. Songs like Mind Trick by Jamie Cullum, Confidence by Teddy Geiger and our new ORIGINAL!! called Stuck. man luv that piece. realli groovy and to a certain extent, corny. yea...veri kewl. man, gotta learn new songs..mayb 2-3 per week...tt'll be fine. heh...slowly la, we're trying our best here.

and oh! i've been going thru eBay recently, and there's loads of kewl stuff there. erm like Zen V going for $159, 2 GB mp3/mp4 player w video func going for $150. and yea, not forgetting laptops, going from $400 onwards. but of course, im not toking about Intel Centrino Processor, duh rite? they look pretty ok, but i can go on about the products, you guys should go check it out. there's this mp3 player which realli caught my eye, wonder if i shud get it. hmm...and the acer laptop going for 400...pentium 3...looks good too...at least something i can use personally, until i earn enuf to get the latest model. mayb i'll contact the dealers soon. heh..

ooh, i gotta stop my habit. my weekends are nutin more than useless 48 hours that i use to slack. 48 hours, 24 of which (still gotta sleep) i can maximise on my revision since A's are like about 80 days onli, thats 2mths ++ onli...and if i were to break up my topics into a 2-month-schedule, it's not gonna b enuf time. ah well, maybe it's times like now (as it rite now, this veri second) that i shud maximise, stop whining and juz get on w work...heh...yea hor?

felt quite ok this past week. getting into "the zone". but suckily ran a short fever yesterday. hehe..thank god. im ok now. dun wanna lose my momentum, no not now..and not until 100 over days later.

been very intrigued w swimming recently. hehehe...think im gonna go swimming like twice weekly mayb increase to 3 if i can find the time. juz realised exercise really makes me alert when i need to and makes my sleep more regular. it's not that a chore to wake up in the morning anymore. and that's cool! then i can start to be a more morning person. cos im always very grumpy when i wake up! gah, regardless how many hours of sleep i get. n it drags another hour into college. heheh...whooops!
