as of now, im more contented than i can ever be. just yesterday, i bought a keyboard protector for my lappy. all around the market price was about 20 bucks. suddenly, i found this single sheet of silicone that cost 8 bux!!! serves the same purpose....rocks my sox!!!! now my lappy is protected!!! wooo!!!!

and next, got a new job at a new place. and thank God it's a very very veri nice place to work in. the pay is damn awesome, but even if they pay me less, i'll still be more than willing to work there. the place has a veri nice ambience, it's at Keppel Bay...yes...but more importantly, the work culture there is awesome....simply amazing. just what i hoped for in terms of work and mgt style in an F&B outlet. finally, out of my misery. =) now i can look forward to working and not dread everytime the weekends come. =)

money vs happiness?
i guess that's something that im still trying to work out yea.

Bus rides.

I spent a large part of my day, my life commuting and sometimes, I'm beginning to really like it. especially bus rides. bus rides, to me, are like transition periods from a part of your life to another. it gives you that freedom and "right" to do anything. be it to daydream, sleep, fantasize or simply do nothing at all until you reach your destination. it's a good form of escapism actually, some alone time where you can give urself the opportunity to reflect. I'm at my most relaxed state during a bus ride. just plop down, plug into my pod and enter another realm, until it's time to get back to the real world.

i guess in a pretty much hectic lifestyle, we need to find some time to blank out our minds. for one moment just think about...nothing. and if you can't seem to find the time to do that, think about blanking out during a bus ride. =)

im actually loving life right now. im getting comfortable with the idea of working and schooling. it actualli keeps me more focused than ever before. i've been pretty efficient the past few days and if this continues for the nxt 4 yrs, i guess im on the right track.

however, work environment isn't realli very conducive. how sad. it's sad when ur willing to work for a place sincerely, turns out....that the place isn't really worth your effort. it's not that they don't appreciate. there's this unexplainable -ve vibe in the place which is pretty demoralizing. im so gonna hunt for another job. prolly i'll move on to better opportunity when the time is right.

i guess personal satisfaction and happiness is more important than money anyway. oh well, in the meantime, just have to hang in there for a while. hope my pay's gonna be quite fat...put in a lot of hours this month.

like i said, now i look forward to the end of weekends. weekdays are so much better for me. crazy arent i?

alright, so i'm less worried now.

finally, got a job at a restaurant in Dempsey. dun exactly fancy the management style there, but i guess it's up to me to adapt. can't be too choosy can I? I still miss working at Original Sin. On 2nd thought, it's always better to break out of my comfort zone and venture into someplace new, even though i'm pretty much doing the same thing as before. slightly rusty tho, 2 years not doing F&B but it'll be fun. (well maybe not...tahan la...for the $$)

Sch's starting soon and as you know, i am excited! (except for the physics elective -_-) yea, there's nothing more to say, im simply excited. yeap.

and my sis just made my day...she bought me a new wallet. =) very happy now.
