Hello all...man..i've been gone to Pre U Seminar for 5 days and whoah, check out the taggies man! it's like some mini-war or sumtink. Not tt i find it amusing, quite overwhelming tho, nonetheless, im not crippled, still as driven and motivated as ever.

well, let's come to the serious part...well mayb not so...

as much as it can be rather intriguing to be discussing issues on tagboards(especially such controversial issue like the one we're discussing now), the more we tag about it, it'll never end, it's just a freaking vicious cycle. We all noe that. and as time goes by, it'll all end wif some meaningless arguments and conclusions from all party. C'mon, it's true, i see you nodding ur head.

was discussing with Zhao Qi about this matter(since i was like away for 5 days), it's true that there are 3 groups of "debaters" here. "For", "Against" and "Neutral". Let me address every group.

To the "Against". Yes, fine. You dislike the SC. well fair enuf, everyone's entitled to their preferences and opinions. I respect you for your opinions. I really do, seriously. I've got like a fetish for ppl who disagree. I dunno y...you guys just drive me even more. Im a bastard i guess. I dun mind your dislike for SC. But my main concern is whether you're sincere in helping to improve the college's env. I'm in no position to comment on your affection for the college. Some of you expect us in the SC to noe wat to improve in the college. I hope you realise that we are humans too and there's only a certain scope that our perspectives can cover. I believe that a population of 1300++ can cover more scope than the 36 of us. So why not both parties help each other so that the college can benefit? And for the record, im not saying this to get you guys to like SC. If you dislike SC and you're adamant abt it, yea fine..stand by your opinion, fine by me. My concern is for college culture. Im really sad to say that PJC is somewhat cultureless. Like i said, we are trying...trying hard to harness the energy of Pioneers. If you think i'm not sincere, yea fine. You're entitled to your opinion and i respect it.

and yes, i haven't been very diplomatic during my term in office. Might be deliberate or slip of the tongue, yes i have written negative comments about the college. and for that, i apologise. Perhaps i was juz too naive and brash and i dun realise that my comments affect ppl. Yes, mistake made, lesson learnt and i apologise. if you wanna gun me down on this, den juz gun ME down and dun freaking drag SC into it for those comments are mine, and mine only.

and yes, another mistake that i made was perhaps i was too narrow-minded in the support and stuff. thank you for bringing it up. I apologise if you feel that not much effort has been put in for the niche societies and clubs. My sincerest apologies. Really, i have no other explanation for that mistake and i hope you will understand. I will live and learn, you juz taught me a priceless lesson. thank you.

in all, we do listen to feedback. the reason y there's so much uproar is that you guys(or gals?) are juz writing one-liners. Man, i've said this time and again. Gotta be objective man. Yea you hate SC, but is there a need for words that kill? and yes, mayb you feel that we haven't done much 4 the college, fine again i respect your opinion. i need your perspectives. I hope you realise that in the business of feedback and improvements, it's a freaking 2-way thing. Im not faulting anyone or blaming anyone, im juz trying to connect and perhaps salvage wadeva i can. like i said, improvements can be made, but definitely not within a year. and im saying this not becoz im gonna push the workload to the 7th, but it's realli a continuous effort of every council. well, yes i agree, the years gone, we're gonna step down soon. I offer you 1001 apologies and i believe the 7th SC will make sure that they'll never repeat our mistakes again. If all this is not enuf at this point in time, then i dunno what is.

all in all, i bear no grudges, no vendetta. Like i said, i'm not crippled or disabled by your comments. You have juz made me way more driven, thank you. I wish you guys and gals all the best in your endeavours. You can choose to accept my 2 cents and throw it back into my face, what needs to be said, i have said.

To the "neutral". Yes thank you for providing a balance to the environment. I really really appreciate your comments. I respect your stand too, seriously. You brought up points that we haven't been really giving our support to the niche societies and clubs. Yes, we'll work on that, rather i believe the 7th will work on that. Yes i noe, you too believe that we 6SC haven't been doing much. I assure you, and every1 else that it'll improve as the years go on. I believe in the future councils. I put my trust and faith in them. So in all, thank you for your feedback and comments. *smilez*

To the "For". Thank you all for your encouragements, support and motivation. It really means a lot to me and the SC. I really really really appreciate what has been said. It's been quite some time that we got a "pat". Not saying that we yearn for it, or we are deprived of it, but it just feels nice and heartwarming knowing that some1 out there realises. I urge you not to get so uptight over this issue, please. The main aim of this post is to subside all contentions. I'll rmb wat has been said always. I'll keep em with me, deep in my heart, even after i graduate from college. n i mean wat i say. I mean everytink that i say in this post. If i dun mean it, i wun say it cos it's a waste of your time and waste of mine. so yes, thank you all for the positive remarks, rest assured, it wun make SC and me complacent, you too have driven and motivated me more than ever before.

ppl, life is juz too short to always be in contention. like i said, this issue is going nowhere. It'll just be a vicious cycle and will end w sum mindless conclusion and mindless arguments. So let's try to subside the anger and contention yea. If you've got comments, yes post it on my tag, you're more than welcome to do so. better still if you could approach me during my breaks or whenever in college. I'll seriously treat you to a drink and we'll talk about wadeva feedback that you might have.

on my part, to me, it's about the college. never regretted being in PJC. PJC is home to me. I feel home even b4 i officially entered PJC. Like my home, i would like to see that it is conducive. To me, infrastructure doesn't really matter. What i care about more is the people within PJC. well, but i understand that not every1 is with me on this issue. Well, fine w me but I sincerely believe that all the councillors are on the same frequency as i am. I dun doubt their sincerity. I dun doubt their passion. I dun doubt their commitments. I dun doubt their motivation. These are ppl which i hold dearly, never wanting to let go. These are ppl whom i feel very comfortable with. These are ppl whom i would tear for. and i'll bleed for them if i have to.
